# Token Utility

As the utility token of the U Protocol, $YOU is utilized via the following mechanisms:\

\- Stability fee for stakers from $uBTC minting via $wstETH\
\- Buyback and burn from $uBTC minting fee via $BTC.b\
\- Potential future developments as the $uBTC ecosystem grows
